Levan Silagadze
Levan Silagadze ( ka, ლევან სილაგაძე; born 4 August 1976) is a former football defender from Georgia. From 1992 to 1997, he played for the Rustavi clubs Imedi, Azoti and Gorda. In 1997, he was bought by Latvian champion team Skonto FC, who had a Georgian coach Revaz Dzodzuashvili. As Dzodzuashvili left the club in 1999, the future of Silagadze became uncertain, but he rejoined his old coach in various loan moves. In 2001, he played his last cap to date with the Georgian national team, having played 21 times in total since 1997. A somewhat unsuccessful spell in Russian team Rubin Kazan between 2002 and 2003 (despite winning the Russian league bronze in 2003) was followed by a transfer to Dinamo Tbilisi. Levan Tskitishvili (born 10 October 1976) is a Georgian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Career Born in Tbilisi, Tskitishvili started playing for Dinamo Tbilisi in 1994, and in 1998 he was transferred to SC Freiburg, teaming up with other Georgian players. During his time with Freiburg the midfielder Tskitishvili played 111 Bundesliga games. Following the relegation of SC Freiburg in 2005 he was on the verge of signing for Metalurg Donetsk, but instead he accepted a contract with VfL Wolfsburg. He joined SV Wehen Wiesbaden on 1 February 2009, signed a contract until 30 June 2010, but left the club the 2008–09 season. He played 33 games in the 2. Bundesliga. Levan Agniashvili
Levan Aghniashvili ( ka, ლევან აღნიაშვილი) (1897–1937) was a Georgian lawyer and Professor of Law who served as the seventh Rector of Tbilisi State University in the period between April 1933 and July 1935. Having opposed the Democratic Republic of Georgia, he was sent into an exile in 1918. During the civil war, Aghniashvili was involved in political activities in the Ukraine, North Caucasus, and the districts of Kazan and Minsk. In the period between 1923 and 1925, Aghniashvili served as the Representative of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union to Germany. From 1926, he had been delivering lectures at the State University in Tbilisi, until becoming the Rector in 1933. Levan Razikashvili
Levan Razikashvili ( ka, ლევან რაზიკაშვილი) (1895-1923) was a Georgian police officer and victim of Soviet repressions. He was born into the family of the Georgian poet Luka Razikashvili, better known by his pseudonym Vazha-Pshavela. Razikashvili graduated from the Tbilisi Gymnasium for Nobility and joined the Social-Federalist Party during the Russian Revolution of 1917. Later, he served to the short-lived Democratic Republic of Georgia (1918-1924). After the Soviet takeover of Georgia in 1921, he was appointed a militsiya chief in the Pshavi district, which was a scene of an anti-Soviet guerrilla revolt. Razikashvili was suspected by the Bolshevik government to have sympathized with the insurgents who were led by Kakutsa Cholokashvili, Razikashvili's erstwhile friend. Levan Sharashenidze ( ka, ლევან შარაშენიძე; russian: Леван Леванович Шарашенидзе, ''Levan Levanovich Sharashenidze'') (born 24 March 1931) is a retired Soviet and Georgian military officer and former Defense Minister of Georgia (1992). Education and career Born in Tbilisi, Sharashenidze was trained at the Alma-Ata Airborne Service School. He also studied law at the Vilnius University and was further educated at the Lenin Military-Political Academy in Moscow. In 1953, he joined the Soviet military, going through the ranks from a paratrooper platoon commander to deputy chief of political directorate of the Transcaucasian Military District (1976-1979) and military commissar of the Georgian Soviet Socialist Republic (1979-1992).
