Mike Costello
Mike Costello is a British sports broadcaster. He is the main boxing commentator for DAZN, having previously worked at BBC Radio for 45 years. Early life Costello was born in April 1960 and grew up in Camberwell in south London. Both his parents were Irish immigrants, living in London before they met. An amateur boxer, he also worked as a boxing trainer, training Adam Booth and Henry Akinwande"Mike Costello", BBC Radio 5 Live. John Rawling
John Rawling is a British boxing, track and field, darts and yachting commentator, currently working for BT Sport, ITV and Talksport. He has become known as one of the best known voices of boxing commentary. With BT, John commentates alongside former World Super-Middleweight champion Richie Woodhall, while former World Cruiserweight champion Glenn McCrory is his co-commentator with Talksport. 2002 Commonwealth Games
The 2002 Commonwealth Games, officially known as the XVII Commonwealth Games and commonly known as Manchester 2002 were held in Manchester, England, from 25 July to 4 August, 2002. The 5th World Championships in Athletics, under the auspices of the International Association of Athletics Federations, were held at the Ullevi Stadium, Gothenburg, Sweden on 5–13 August 1995. This edition featured 1804 athletes from 191 nations. This competition saw the women run the 5000 m event at the World Championships for the first time. The English cricket team toured India during January, February and March 1993. The tour was beset by controversy over England's poor performances and results, with selection, tour management, the Indian cuisine and climate, airport industrial action and even players' facial hair being blamed for the lack of success. As far as squad selection was concerned, the primary focus was the omission of David Gower, who had averaged over 50 in the previous summer's series against Pakistan. His replacement was Dermot Reeve who ended up not even featuring in the Test series. The official reason for leaving Gower out of the squad was that he was "too old", but with veterans Mike Gatting and John Emburey also making the trip, despite having only just returned from a ban for playing cricket in apartheid South Africa, this seemed rather spurious. The MRF World Series for the Jawaharlal Nehru Cup was an international cricket tournament held in India to celebrate the birth centenary of Jawaharlal Nehru, first Prime Minister of India.
