Mieczysław Czechowicz
Mieczysław Czechowicz (28 September 1930 in Lublin – 14 September 1991 in Warsaw) was a Polish actor, one of the most famous of all time. Career A graduate of Warsaw's State Theatrical Academy ( Państwowa Wyższa Szkoła Teatralna), Czechowicz played in numerous films, plays and cabarets. He worked for the National Theatre as well as other Warsaw theatres. He featured in the 1965 film ''Three Steps on Earth''. In 1987 he was awarded the Polonia Restituta. As a movie actor, he played in such productions, as Janosik (TV series), Czterej Pancerni i Pies, Lalka, The Tin Drum, and comedies by Stanisław Bareja. Czechowicz's voice is known by almost all kids in Poland, as he voiced the friendly teddy bear in a popular cartoon Miś Uszatek Miś Uszatek (''Floppy Bear'', literally ''Teddy Floppy-ear'') is a Polish character from the stop motion-animated TV series of the same name. Lublin
Lublin is the ninth-largest city in Poland and the second-largest city of historical Lesser Poland. It is the capital and the center of Lublin Voivodeship with a population of 336,339 (December 2021). The Tin Drum (film)
''The Tin Drum'' (german: Die Blechtrommel) is a 1979 film adaptation of Günter Grass' novel of the same title, directed by Volker Schlöndorff from a screenplay co-written with Jean-Claude Carrière and Franz Seitz. It stars Mario Adorf, Angela Winkler, Daniel Olbrychski, Katharina Thalbach, Charles Aznavour, and David Bennent in the lead role of Oskar Matzerath, a young boy who willfully arrests his own physical development and remains in the body of a child even as he enters adulthood. Stanisław Sylwester Bareja (5 December 1929 – 14 June 1987) was a Polish filmmaker. Some of his films (mostly comedies) have reached cult status in Poland. His most famous film is ''Teddy Bear'' (''Miś''), filmed in 1980. His last work was ''Zmiennicy'', a TV series completed in 1986 and aired in 1987.
