Midnight At The Casa Luna
''Midnight at the Casa Luna'' is a radio drama, produced by the ZBS Foundation.ZBS.orglink (Midnight at the Casa Luna) The two parts of the story were released individually in 1998 and 2000; part two has the title ''The Hungry Ghosts''. It is the eleventh of the Jack Flanders adventure series, and combines elements of Americana and Old-time radio with metaphysical concepts such as Sufi wisdom and Tibetan Buddhism. Plot One evening Jack Flanders is wandering the streets of New York, close to his home, when he notices a tree-lined street he'd never seen before. Down this street lies an interesting looking coffee shop called ''The Casa Luna''. Jack enters and finds himself talking to the Balinese waitress, Nani, about another ''Casa Luna'' that Jack had visited whilst in Bali. A mysterious woman, Nina, arrives and persuades Jack to come with her, leading him to a journey through the dream-like dimensions of higher realities. Dreams Of Bali
''Dreams of Bali'' is a radio drama, produced by the ZBS Foundation.ZBS.orglink (Dreams of Bali) It is the eight of the Jack Flanders adventure series and the third of the Travels with Jack sub-series. It combines elements of American culture, Old-time radio and Sufism. Plot Jack travels to Bali to visit an old friend, Tiffany, and finds himself immersed in a saga of jealousy that extends down from the gods themselves to the mere mortals who fall under their spell. A spectral Balinese holy man helps Jack to become an avatar of Rangda, Queen of Witches in a dangerous attempt to save Tiffany from her plight. Notes & Themes In Midnight at the Casa Luna, Jack is reminded of another Casa Luna cafe he says that he visited while in Ubud, Bali - i.e. during this story. ''Moon Over Morocco'' is a 1974 radio drama, the second in ZBS's Jack Flanders series. Originally broadcast as fifty twelve-minute episodes, the serial was written and directed by Meatball Fulton. History Following on the success of ''The Fourth Tower of Inverness'', Fulton set about working on a sequel in 1973. Fulton described the story "a mystery fantasy with a whiff of 'Casablanca' about it". It was set in Morocco where he spent a month recording ambient sounds and music for the production. Fulton stayed with the writer Paul Bowles in Tangier and learned about Moroccan magic practices from him. Fulton recorded location sound throughout Morocco, including the courtyard of Bowles' villa in Marrakech. The production also used traditional Moroccan music recorded by Bowles for the festival scenes. The recordings helped inspire his writing, Fulton told ''Billboard'' magazine. The Ah-Ha Phenomenon

Dragon Lady
Dragon Lady is usually a stereotype of certain East Asian and occasionally South Asian and/or Southeast Asian women as strong, deceitful, domineering, mysterious, and often sexually alluring. Inspired by the characters played by actress Anna May Wong, the term comes from the female villain in the comic strip ''Terry and the Pirates''. Tibetan Buddhism

The Golden Age of Radio, also known as the old-time radio (OTR) era, was an era of radio in the United States where it was the dominant electronic home entertainment medium. It began with the birth of commercial radio broadcasting in the early 1920s and lasted through the 1950s, when television gradually superseded radio as the medium of choice for scripted programming, variety and dramatic shows.
