Michał Karbownik
Michał Karbownik (born 13 March 2001) is a Polish professional footballer who plays as a defender for 2. Bundesliga club Hertha BSC. He has made four appearances for the Poland national team at senior level. Club career Early career Karbownik was born in the city of Radom, located 62 miles south of Warsaw. He began his football career at Zorza Kowala at the age of 10. In 2012, he joined a local club Młodzik 18 Radom. Legia Warsaw In 2015, Karbownik joined Legia Warsaw. He joined the Academy, and was soon promoted to Legia's reserve team in 2016. In 2019, he began training with the first team, and on 25 August 2019, he made his debut for Legia in a 3–2 away win against ŁKS Łódź, providing an assist for Dominik Nagy. Radom is a city in east-central Poland, located approximately south of the capital, Warsaw. Aleksandar Vuković ( sr-cyrl, Александар Вуковић, ; born 25 August 1979) is a Serbian professional football manager and former player who currently manages Polish Ekstraklasa club Piast Gliwice. Czesław Michniewicz (; born 12 February 1970) is a Polish football manager and former player who managed the Poland national team in 2022. The ''Piłka Nożna'' Magazine Plebiscite ( pl, Plebiscyt Piłki Nożnej) is an annual plebiscite organized by the magazine journalists of '' Piłka Nożna'' (literally "Foot Ball"), the Polish football magazine. Participants choose the best player, best newcomer, best team, best coach and best foreign player in Polish football. The title of Polish Footballer of the Year has been awarded in Poland since 1973. The first player to be crowned was Kazimierz Deyna, midfielder for Legia Warsaw, while Mirosław Bulzacki was best newcomer. 2019–20 Ekstraklasa
The 2019–20 Ekstraklasa (also known as PKO Ekstraklasa due to sponsorship reasons) was the 94th season of the Polish Football Championship, the 86th season of the highest tier domestic division in the Polish football league system since its establishment in 1927 and the 12th season of the Ekstraklasa under its current title. The league was operated by the Ekstraklasa SA. The regular season was played as a round-robin tournament.
