Michael Lamb (politician)
Michael Lamb (born 1962) is an American politician and attorney who has served as Controller of the City of Pittsburgh since 2008 and was most recently a candidate for auditor general. Early life and education In 1962, he was born to politician Thomas F. Lamb and Barbara Joyce. In high school, he was on the student council and was voted as most active. Lamb first attended Pennsylvania State University where during the 1984 presidential election he coordinated John Glenn's presidential campaign at the college level and eventually graduated with a bachelor's degree in 1984. Doug Walgren
Douglas Walgren (born December 28, 1940) is an American attorney and politician who served as a Democratic member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Pennsylvania from 1977 to 1991. Early life Walgren was born in Rochester, New York, and grew up in Mount Lebanon, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1963, and received his LL.B. from Stanford University in 1966. 2020 Pennsylvania Auditor General Election
The Pennsylvania Auditor General election of 2020 took place on November 3, 2020. Primary elections were originally due to take place on April 28, 2020. However, following concerns regarding the coronavirus pandemic the primaries were delayed until June 2, 2020. Under the Pennsylvania Constitution incumbent Democratic Auditor General Eugene DePasquale was ineligible to seek a third consecutive term. The Democratic Party nominated Nina Ahmad, a Bangladeshi American, while the Republicans nominated Timothy DeFoor, an African American, meaning that the victor would be the first person of color to be elected to statewide executive office in Pennsylvania. Luke Robert Ravenstahl (born February 6, 1980) is an American politician who served as the 59th Mayor of Pittsburgh from 2006 until 2014.
