Michael Frendo (engineer)
Michael Joseph Frendo (born 1960) is a Canadian engineer and investor. Frendo was one of the founders of Cisco Systems technology brands. He is the former Executive Vice President of Polycom. Frendo has recently become the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of the internet security company, Proofpoint. Career Cisco Systems Frendo spent more than 10 years at Cisco in 2 roles, first as founder and leader of the Cisco Technology Center which was an incubation and advanced technology development team responsible for delivering many first-of products for Cisco in amongst other areas Voice, Cable Data and Wireless. Reuters ( ) is a news agency owned by Thomson Reuters Corporation. It employs around 2,500 journalists and 600 photojournalists in about 200 locations worldwide. Reuters is one of the largest news agencies in the world. The agency was established in London in 1851 by the German-born Paul Reuter.
