Mexicans in Panama, or Mexican Panamanians are people born in Mexico who live in Panama, or people who were born in Panama but who are or were of Mexican descent. Mexican culture in Panama Carlos Fuentes was born of Mexican parents in Panama, on November 11, 1928 and died at age of 83 in Mexico City, on May 15, 2012. His father was a diplomat, and he spent his childhood in various capitals of America: Montevideo, Rio de Janeiro, Washington, D.C., Santiago, Quito and Buenos Aires, the city where his father comes in 1934 as a counselor of the Embassy of Mexico. Roberto Durán
Roberto Durán Samaniego (born June 16, 1951) is a Panamanian former professional boxer who competed from 1968 to 2001. He held world championships in four weight classes: lightweight, welterweight, light middleweight and middleweight, as well as reigns as the undisputed and lineal lightweight champion, and the lineal welterweight champion. He is also the second boxer to have competed over a span of five decades, the first being Jack Johnson.
