Meaghan Sargeant (born 16 March 1994) is an English footballer who plays as a defender for FA Women's Super League club Aston Villa. She had previously played for Bristol City, Birmingham City and Notts County. Club career Sargeant progressed through Sheffield United's Centre of Excellence, before joining Arsenal Ladies' Academy. In January 2012, Sargeant signed for Lincoln Ladies. In March 2014, Sargeant joined Birmingham City. In February 2016, she signed a new contract with Birmingham City. Charlie Louise Wellings (born 18 May 1998) is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker for Women's Super League club Reading. Wellings has previously played for Birmingham City and Bristol City of the Women's Super League and Celtic of the Scottish Women's Premier League. The Women's Super League (WSL), currently known as the Barclays Women's Super League (BWSL) for sponsorship reasons, is the highest league of women's football in England. Established in 2010, it is run by the Football Association and features twelve fully professional teams. The England women's national under-23 football team, also known as England women Under-23s or England women U23(s), is an association football team operated under the auspices of The Football Association. Its primary role is the development of players in preparation for the senior England women's national football team.
