Mazloom (web Series)
''Mazloom'' () is a Maldivian four-part anthology web series directed by Ilyas Waheed. Produced by Asim Ali and Ilyas Waheed under IFilms and Kazmik International, the series focuses on several societal issues. The first chapter, following the lives of two survivors of rape assaults, stars Nuzuhath Shuaib, Ahmed Ifnaz Firag, Sharaf Abdulla and Washiya Mohamed in pivotal roles. The second chapter titled ''Zarrook'' starring Mohamed Mahil, Sharif and Nathasha Jaleel, narrates the story of a young child connecting with an imaginary friend. The third chapter titled "Minju" follows the life of a victim of domestics abuse (played by Thaathi Adam), who realizes her self-value when her husband (played by Ravee Farooq) was bed-ridden due to a stroke paralyses. The fourth chapter titled "Hintha" stars Mariyam Azza as the victim of human trafficking. Ilyas Waheed
Ilyas Waheed is a Maldivian film director, producer, screenwriter and editor Early life Inspired by his father's patriotism, Waheed inclined to pursue a career as an army officer. However, while studying in grade three, he was bedridden for three months due to a leg fracture, which led him to watch numerous movies, and ultimately changing his passion from military defense to film making and visual arts. After completing his GCE Ordinary Level education from Majeediyya School, Waheed joined Maldives National Defence Force to complete his bond term. In 2000, he joined Department of Immigration and Emigration, where he served as an Immigration Officer for around 8 years before quitting his job, hoping to attain further education. Aishath Lahfa
Aishath Lahfa (born 21 November 1997) is a Maldivian film actress. Before pursuing a career in acting, Lahfa was an active TikTok user, which won her recognition as a performer. She made her acting debut in the web series '' Girlfriends'' (2021) and continued playing main roles in several other web series including four-part anthology crime web series ''Mazloom'' (2021–2022), family romantic dramas '' Rimsha'' (2022) and ''Yasna'' (2022). In 2023, she made her first appearance in a feature film with the horror film '' Kalhaki''. ''Bavathi'' is a 2019 Maldivian psychological thriller film directed by Ilyas Waheed. Produced by Asim Ali, Ilyas Waheed and Ahmed Waheed under IFilms, the film stars Nuzuhath Shuaib and Ahmed Ifnaz Firag in pivotal roles. Plot Ibrahim aka Ibu ( Ahmed Ifnaz Firag), a fitness trainer visits an island for a training workshop where he meets an introvert, Shehenaz aka Shehe (Nuzuhath Shuaib) who is regarded as a prideful and slightly insane woman on the island. Ahmed Sharif (Maldivian Actor)
Ahmed Sharif (born 31 August 1991) is a Maldivian film actor. Career Prior to acting, Sharif was more involved in the creative departments of the film where he served as a foley artist and a boom operator in Aishath Rishmy's romantic film '' Bos'' (2017). Impressed with the poster of ''Ehenas'' and thinking its a horror film, he contacted its casting director Rishmy who invited him to the audition of the series, where he was ultimately selected to play the role of Shinaz, a violent and short-tempered brother.
