Mayumana ( he, מיומנה) is an Israeli dance troupe that combines dance, song and percussion. History Mayumana was established in Tel Aviv by Eylon Nuphar and Boaz Berman in 1996. The name of the troupe is derived from the Hebrew word for "skill." In 1996–2007, Mayumana performed over 5,000 shows in 30 countries, reaching an audience of more than 3.5 million people. Mayumana's "BE" show was performed with an international cast of dancers, actors, gymnasts, musicians and singers. The show uses instruments, voices and bodies to create a "visual smorgasbord of dance, movement and theater." Hebrew
Hebrew (; ; ) is a Northwest Semitic language of the Afroasiatic language family. David Broza
David Simon Berwick Broza ( he, דויד ברוזה; born September 4, 1955) is an Israeli singer-songwriter. His music mixes modern pop with Spanish music. Biography David Broza was born in Haifa, Israel. His father was an Israeli–British businessman of German-Dutch Jewish descent. He grew up in England and Spain, attending Runnymede College, in Madrid. Broza's grandfather, Wellesley Aron, co-founded the Arab-Israeli peace settlement Neve Shalom – Wāħat as-Salām (''The Oasis of Peace''), Jewish Music Group (archived webpage) and the Habonim youth movement. Ketura Sun
Ketura Sun is Israel’s first commercial solar field. Built in early 2011 by Arava Power Company on Kibbutz Ketura, it covers 20 acres (8.09 hectares) and is expected to produce to 4.95 megawatts. It has the first automatic solar panel cleaning system in the world. Characteristics The field consists of 18,500 photovoltaic panels made by Suntech, which will produce about nine million kilowatt-hours of electricity per year. In the next twenty years, the field will spare the production of some 125,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide. The field is connected to Israel’s national power grid and sends electricity to the 33,000 volt line to kibbutzim in the area.
