Mauro Calamia
Mauro Calamia (born 20 January 1992) is an amateur racing driver from Switzerland. Career Karting Born in Laupen ZH, Calamia began karting in 2004 and raced primarily in his native Switzerland for the majority of his career, working his way up from the junior ranks to progress through to the KF2 category by 2008. Formula Lista Junior In 2009, Calamia graduated to single–seaters, racing in the Formula Lista Junior series in Europe for Daltec Racing. He finished tenth, scoring a podium finish at Monza. He remained in the series for the 2010 season, moving to Torino Motorsport, but finished the season in eleventh place in the championship. Formula Renault Calamia switched to the newly created Formula Renault 2.0 Alps series in 2011, returning to Daltec Racing. The 2015 International GT Open season was the tenth season of the International GT Open, the grand tourer-style sports car racing founded in 2006 by the Spanish GT Sport Organización. It began on 26 April at Circuit Paul Ricard and finished on 1 November, at Barcelona after seven double-header meetings. The series changed tyre supplier from Dunlop to Michelin. Silverstone Circuit
Silverstone Circuit is a motor racing circuit in England, near the Northamptonshire villages of Towcester, Silverstone and Whittlebury. It is the home of the British Grand Prix, which it first hosted as the 1948 British Grand Prix. The 1950 British Grand Prix at Silverstone was the first race in the newly created World Championship of Drivers. The race rotated between Silverstone, Aintree and Brands Hatch from 1955 to 1986, but settled permanently at the Silverstone track in 1987. 2012 FIA Formula Two Championship
The 2012 FIA Formula Two Championship was the fourth and final season and the last of the FIA Formula Two Championship. The season started on 14 April at Silverstone and finished on 30 September at Monza. The 2012 calendar saw the addition of two new races. In the opening round at Silverstone, the first pole of the season was claimed by Mathéo Tuscher, the youngest driver to have taken part in the series. Tuscher was overtaken by Christopher Zanella on the first lap of the opening race; Zanella was later joined by Mihai Marinescu and Luciano Bacheta out front, with Bacheta eventually prevailing over Zanella with series debutant Alex Fontana in third. Marinescu claimed pole position for the second race, but could not stop Bacheta taking his second win of the weekend; Fontana again completed the podium, behind Marinescu. 2022 GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup
The 2022 GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup is the twelfth season of the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup since its inception in 2011 as the Blancpain Endurance Series. The season began on 1 April at Imola and will end on 2 October at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. In a change from the 2021 schedule, the round at the Nürburgring was moved to the Hockenheimring. On 29 October 2021, a second change to the schedule was announced, moving the opening round from Monza to Imola and staging the event one week earlier. 2021 24 Hours Of Nürburgring
__FORCETOC__ The 2021 Nürburgring 24 Hours (officially known as ADAC Total 24h Race at the Nürburgring Nordschleife for sponsorship reasons) was the 49th running of the Nürburgring 24 Hours and took place over 3–6 June 2021. The Manthey Racing Porsche 911 GT3 won the race with the Rowe Racing BMW M6 in second. Rowe Racing and BMW were the defending winners from the previous year's race. The race was the shortest-ever in terms of both laps and run time, with the winner only completing fifty-nine laps in less than 10 hours of green- and yellow-flag running as a result of torrential rain and heavy fog. It included a large number of different classes of car, varying in speed from Group GT3 sport cars to a Dacia Logan. Of the 121 cars that started the race, ninety-nine finished. The 2020 Italian GT Championship was the 29th season of the Italian GT Championship, the grand tourer-style sports car racing founded by the Italian automobile club (Automobile Club d'Italia).
