Maurice Alliot
Maurice Alliot (24 September 1903 – 22 October 1960) was a French Egyptologist. He was a professor of Egyptology at Lyons (from 1937) and Paris (from 1953). Edfu ( egy, bḥdt, ar, إدفو , ; also spelt Idfu, or in modern French as Edfou) is an Egyptian city, located on the west bank of the Nile River between Esna and Aswan, with a population of approximately sixty thousand people.
