Matty Blythe (born 20 November 1988) is an English former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 2000s and 2010s. He played at club level in the Super League for the Warrington Wolves (two spells) and the Bradford Bulls, and in the Championship for the Leigh Centurions (loan), the Bradford Bulls, and the Rochdale Hornets ( dual registration), as a or . Playing career Warrington Wolves Blythe's career began with the Warrington club in 2007. Bradford Bulls In 2013 Blythe was loaned out to Super League side the Bradford Bulls for the 2013 Bradford Bulls season. Blythe played in the pre-season friendlies against Dewsbury and Leeds. The following year, he featured in six consecutive games from the commencement of the season. He then missed a large chunk of games through injury. Urmston
Urmston is a town in Trafford, Greater Manchester, England, which had a population of 41,825 at the 2011 Census. Historically in Lancashire, it is southwest of Manchester city centre. Season review June 2013 The Bulls announced their first signing for the 2014 season in the form of Warrington Wolves props forward Gareth Carvell on a 2-year deal. This was the Bulls' second season in the Championship, after narrowly missing out on promotion in the previous season's £1 Million Game which they lost 24-16 to the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats. Season Review July 2015 Bradford started their preparations for the 2016 season by announcing several departures from the club. The first of these were youngster Sam Bates who left to search for another club. Castleford Tigers
The Castleford Tigers are a professional rugby league club in Castleford, West Yorkshire, England, that compete in the Super League, the top-level professional rugby league club competition in the Northern Hemisphere. The club have competed in the top division for the majority of their existence, having only been relegated twice in their history. They have won the Challenge Cup four times. Million Pound Game (stylized as £1M Game) was an annual playoff final rugby league game that decides which Championship team will be promoted to Super League the following season. Between 2015 and 2018, the game was played as part of The Qualifiers until the 2019 league restructure when it became the final of the top 5 playoff series. The name alludes to the higher level of funding Super League clubs receive. The Sheffield Eagles are a professional rugby league club that play in the Championship (rugby league), Betfred Championship. The club play their home games at the Olympic Legacy Park (OLP) on the former site of Don Valley Stadium, their former ground.
