Matthew Boyden (cricketer)
Matthew Kavan Leslie Boyden (born 24 February 1979) is a former English cricketer. Boyden was a right-handed batsman who fielded as a wicket-keeper. He was born in King's Lynn, Norfolk. Boyden made his debut for Norfolk in the 1996 Minor Counties Championship against Bedfordshire. Boyden played Minor counties cricket for Norfolk from 1996 to 1999, which included 26 Minor Counties Championship matches and 11 MCCA Knockout Trophy matches. He made his List A debut against Warwickshire in the 1997 NatWest Trophy. He made 2 further List A appearances, against Durham in the 1998 NatWest Trophy and the Surrey Cricket Board in the 1999 NatWest Trophy The 1999 NatWest Trophy was the 19th NatWest Trophy. King's Lynn
King's Lynn, known until 1537 as Bishop's Lynn and colloquially as Lynn, is a port and market town in the borough of King's Lynn and West Norfolk in the county of Norfolk, England. The 1999 NatWest Trophy was the 19th NatWest Trophy. It was an English limited overs county cricket tournament which was held between 4 May and 29 August 1999. The tournament was won by Gloucestershire who defeated Somerset by 50 runs in the final at Lord's. Format For the 1999 season, radical changes were made to the structure and format of the competition. Each side's innings was reduced from 60 overs per side to 50, in order to bring the county one-day game in line with the format of One Day Internationals.
