Matt Tilley
Matt Tilley (born 4 March 1969 in Melbourne) is an Australian ex-radio presenter and stand-up comedian. Personal life Tilley was raised in Mount Eliza. He completed his secondary school education in 1986 at The Peninsula School in Mount Eliza. He completed a Bachelor of Laws degree from Monash University, taking 11 years to complete the degree, and a Diploma in Not-For-Profit Governance. He began stand-up comedy in 1987. He is married and has three children. He is an avid produce grower, food-waste fighter, and compassionate storyteller. ''Surprise Surprise Gotcha'' is an Australian hidden camera practical joke television series. Hosted by radio personalities Matt Tilley and Jackie O, the series commenced on the Nine Network on 18 September 2007. ''Thank God You're Here'' is an Australian television improvised comedy program created by Working Dog Productions, which premiered on Network Ten on 5 April 2006, and aired for the first three seasons and on Seven for the fourth season. Each episode involves performers walking through a door into an unknown situation, greeted by the line "Thank God you're here!". They then had to improvise their way through the scene. At the end of each episode a winner was announced. It was the most successful new show in Australia of 2006, attracting an average of 1.7 million viewers after the first few episodes. The show is hosted by Shane Bourne, and is judged by Tom Gleisner. The format was sold for recreation in a number of countries. The Final Call is the fourth and final segment of the "Matt Tilley's Gotcha Calls" CD series, which consists of 27 of the "gotcha" phone calls that were made by Matt Tilley between 2008 and 2009. The calls are written and performed by Tilley, and recorded by Troy Ellis, the anchor of Tilley's radio show, The Matt & Jo Show on Fox FM.
