Matt Doran (journalist)
Matt Doran (born 22 December 1982) is an Australian journalist. Doran is currently co-host of ''Weekend Sunrise'' with Monique Wright. Previously he has been a reporter for the Seven Network's flagship public affairs program, '' Sunday Night'' and a reporter and presenter at Network Ten. Career Doran graduated from Melbourne University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Media and Communications (enriched Journalism major). Throughout 2006, he worked as a police reporter with Melbourne's '' Herald Sun'' newspaper, covering fires, floods, the gangland war and CBD shootings. In the four years prior, he held a position as an awarded reporter and senior editor across a number of mastheads within News Ltd's Leader newspaper group. Larry Emdur (born 9 December 1964) is an Australian television personality. Emdur is currently co-host of ''The Morning Show (TV program), The Morning Show'' alongside Kylie Gillies, and host of ''The Chase Australia''. The duo also hosted the Australian version of ''Celebrity Splash!''. He formerly hosted the Australian version of game show ''The Price Is Right (Australian game show), The Price Is Right'' from 1993 to 1998 and later 2003 to 2005 on the Nine Network and then again when the show returned to the Seven Network on 7 May 2012. ''Breakfast'' was an Australian breakfast television program which aired live on Network Ten on weekdays, as well as a weekly highlights program on Saturday at 11:00am. It had a format consisting of news, sport and weather updates every half-hour from 6:00am to 8:00am with a mixture of debate, current affairs and regular segments in between. The Victorian Certificate of Education (often abbreviated VCE) is one credential available to secondary school students who successfully complete year 11 and 12 in the Australian state of Victoria. The VCE is the predominant choice for students wishing to pursue tertiary education. An alternative to VCE is the Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL), a vocational based senior secondary school qualification. About 67% of all 19-year-olds in Victoria had completed the VCE in 2020, compared to about 11% of students completing the VCAL (a very small group completed both). A small number of government secondary schools, and a somewhat larger number of private schools, offer the IB Diploma Programme as an alternative.
