Matt Bersano
Matt Bersano (born September 10, 1992) is an American professional soccer player who plays for Major League Soccer club Austin FC. Career Youth, college and amateur After spending his youth career with the Real Salt Lake AZ academy, Bersano began his college career at Oregon State University. He made a total of 54 appearances and recorded 14 clean sheets for the Beavers before transferring to Penn State University in 2015. In his lone season with the Nittany Lions, Bersano made 13 appearances and finished with a 1.19 Goals Against Average and five clean sheets. He also played in the Premier Development League for Lane United FC. Professional Seattle Sounders 2 On March 24, 2016, Bersano signed a professional contract with USL club Seattle Sounders FC 2. He ended up making his professional debut on September 11, coming on as a sub in the 81st minute for the injured Charlie Lyon in S2's away match at Oklahoma City Energy. Chandler is a city in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States, and a suburb in the Phoenix-Mesa-Chandler Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA). Charlie Lyon
Charles Lyon (born April 10, 1992) is an American soccer coach and former player. Career College and amateur Lyon spent his entire college career at Marquette University. After medically redshirting his first year in 2010, Lyon made a total of 63 appearances for the Golden Eagles and finished his career with a 0.83 GAA and recorded 29 clean sheets. He also played in the PDL for Chicago Fire U-23. Professional On January 20, 2015, Lyon was selected in the fourth round (75th overall) in the 2015 MLS SuperDraft by Seattle Sounders FC. He signed a professional contract with the club on March 17. He made his professional debut for USL affiliate club Seattle Sounders FC 2 in a 4–2 victory against Sacramento Republic FC. The 2017 Reno 1868 FC season is the club's inaugural season of existence, and their first in the United Soccer League, the second tier of American soccer. Background Ahead of the 2017 season, there had been three professional soccer clubs in Northern Nevada: Reno Rattlers, Northern Nevada Aces, and Nevada Wonders. The announcement of an expansion franchise to join the USL was announced in September 2015. The club's named was decided with a contest known as "USL Reno 2017". Nearly 5,000 entries were submitted, followed by fans choosing from amongst the top six names: Reno FC, FC Reno, Reno Silver FC, Reno City FC, Reno United, or Reno 1868. The USL Championship (USLC) is a professional men's soccer league in the United States that began its inaugural season in 2011. 2016 USL Season
The 2016 USL season was the sixth season of the United Soccer League and the twenty-second season of USSF sanctioned Division III play organized by the United Soccer Leagues. On August 6, 2015, the league announced that the season would consist of 30 games rather than 28 games played from 2013–2015. This was the first increase in the number of games since the league went from 24 games per season in 2012 to 28 games in 2013. The league expanded from 24 to 29 teams in 2016. Six franchises were officially announced by the league: Swope Park Rangers, Orlando City B, Rio Grande Valley FC, FC Cincinnati, Bethlehem Steel FC, and San Antonio FC. LA Galaxy, also known as the Los Angeles Galaxy, are an American professional soccer club based in the Los Angeles metropolitan area. David Bingham (soccer, Born 1989)
David Matthew Bingham (born October 19, 1989) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper for Major League Soccer club Portland Timbers. Youth David Bingham was born October 19, 1989 in Castro Valley, California to his parents Greg and Lisa Bingham. Bingham played for the youth club, Mustang United based out of Danville, California. In 2007, his club team made it to the Super- Y league National Championships. Bingham was a member of the Super-Y national team in 2006 and 2007. He had 13 shutouts and had a 0.60 goals against average during his senior year in high school.
