Matheus Isaías dos Santos (born 22 March 1996), known as Matheus Jussa or simply Jussa, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back and defensive midfielder for Campeonato Brasileiro Série A club Fortaleza. Club career Born in São Paulo, Jussa graduated from Portuguesa's youth categories, playing as an attacking midfielder or even as a forward. On 9 September 2014, he made his professional debut, replacing fellow youth graduate Gabriel Xavier in a 0–1 away loss against Santa Cruz for the Série B championship. On 22 November 2014, Jussa scored his first goal, netting his side's only in a 1–2 away loss against Ceará. 2019 Campeonato Brasileiro Série B
The 2019 Campeonato Brasileiro Série B was a football competition held in Brazil, equivalent to the second division. The competition started on 26 April and ended on 30 November 2019. Twenty teams competed in the tournament, twelve returning from the 2018 season, four promoted from the 2018 Campeonato Brasileiro Série C (Botafogo-SP, Bragantino, Cuiabá and Operário Ferroviário), and four relegated from the 2018 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A ( América Mineiro, Paraná, Sport and Vitória). Red Bull GmbH signed a deal with the promoted team Bragantino. Team was merged with Red Bull Brasil and renamed as RB Bragantino, although in the 2019 Série B their name was simply Bragantino with Red Bull as main sponsor. The 2018 Campeonato Brasileiro Série C was a football competition held in Brazil, equivalent to the third division. The competition started on 14 April and ended on 22 September 2018. Twenty teams competed in the tournament, twelve returning from the 2017 season, four promoted from the 2017 Campeonato Brasileiro Série D ( Operário Ferroviário, Globo, Atlético Acreano and Juazeirense), and four relegated from the 2017 Campeonato Brasileiro Série B ( Luverdense, Santa Cruz, ABC and Náutico). The Campeonato Brasileiro Série C is the third tier of the Brazilian football league system. Unlike the first and second divisions, the Série C is not played in a double round robin system, arguably because many participating teams lack the financial conditions to travel long distances. Thus, the tournament is organized in regional groups and the table prevents teams from distant states from playing each other in the initial rounds. Until 2008, any professional team could apply, but only 64 teams would take part in the tournament. The teams that had been relegated from the Série B in the previous year were joined by teams qualified for each federation state. The 2017 Rio de Janeiro Soccer Tournament was the 114th edition of the top tier football of FFERJ (Federação de Futebol do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, or Rio de Janeiro State Football Federation).
