Mitra Hejazipour ( fa, میترا حجازیپور, born 19 February 1993) is an Iranian and French chess player who holds the title of Woman Grandmaster. Career She won the silver medal in the World Under-10 Girls Championship in 2003. Hejazipour won the Iranian Women Chess Championship in 2012. She was the runner-up in 2013 and in 2014. She competed in the Women's World Chess Championship 2015, in which she was knocked out by Pia Cramling in the first round. Hejazipour won the 2015 Asian Continental Women's Championship in Al Ain. Thanks to this achievement, she earned the title of Woman Grandmaster and qualified for the next knockout Women's World Championship. Ehsan Ghaem-Maghami ( fa, احسان قائممقامی ; born 11 August 1982) is an Iranian chess grandmaster (2000). He is the record holder of the Iranian Chess Championship with 13 titles. On the September 2011 FIDE list, he had an Elo rating of 2583. In 2004, he finished first in the Kish GM Tournament. In 2009, he won a 20-game combined match (four classical, four rapid and twelve blitz games) against Anatoly Karpov, played with the proviso that each game be played to mate or dead draw. The overall score was eight wins to Ghaem-Maghami, seven wins to Karpov, and five draws. In 2011, he finished first in the 10th Avicenna International Open Tournament in Hamadan, Iran. Sarasadat Khadem al-sharieh ( fa, سارا سادات خادمالشریعه; born 10 March 1997), also known as Sara Khadem, is an Iranian chess player who holds the titles of International Master (IM) and Woman Grandmaster (WGM). Early life and background Sarasadat Khademalsharieh was born on 10 March 1997 in Tehran. She liked various sports such as tennis and basketball growing up. After being introduced to chess by one of her classmates at eight years old, she had her parents put her in a chess class. Although her parents do not play chess, she has credited them with being very supportive of her career.
