Masoud Juma
Masoud Juma Choka (born 3 February 1996) is a Kenyan footballer who plays as a forward for Saudi club Al-Jabalain and the Kenya national team. Club career Early years Born and raised in Isiolo, Juma began playing football at Tumaini Primary School. He then led his Isiolo Barracks Secondary School team to the Coca-Cola/AFCO Inter-military Schools Championship, where he was named tournament MVP with five goals. During this time, he also featured for Isiolo Youth FC, in the fifth-tier Kenyan County Champions League. He then joined FKF Division One club Kambakia Christian Centre FC for a short while before rejoining Isiolo Youth FC in February 2014. Isiolo
Isiolo is a town in Isiolo County, of which it is the capital. It is located in the upper eastern region of Kenya and geographically considered the centre of the country Kenya. It lies 285 kilometres north of the capital Nairobi. The town grew around the local military camps, much of the population being descendants of former Somali soldiers who had fought in World War I as well as other Cushitic-speaking pastoral communities and the Ameru community. The town has an estimated population of 120,000people, most of them living around the outskirts of the town. Kenyan National Super League
The Kenyan National Super League (also referred to as Betika Super League for sponsorship reasons ) is the second tier of the Kenyan football league system, with a promotion and relegation system with the Kenyan Premier League and FKF Division One. Some of the league's member clubs are fully professional, while others are semi-professional. The league was formed in line with the introduction of a new six-tier system by the Football Kenya Federation to take effect from the beginning of the 2014 season. Competition There are 20 clubs in the Kenyan National Super League. During the course of a season, each club plays the others twice (a double round-robin system): once at their home stadium and once at that of their opponents, for a total of 38 games. Edwin Lavatsa (born 3 January 1993) is a Kenyan footballer who plays for Kakamega Homeboys in the Kenyan Premier League and the Kenya national team as a forward. Lavatsa spent three seasons with Gor Mahia, with whom he won the league title in 2013, before moving to Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1 side MC Alger for half a season before being released. He joined Mathare United in 2015 and spent one season at the club before moving to Bandari, where he clinched silverware on his competitive debut at the 2016 Kenyan Super Cup. The 2016 Kenyan Premier League (known as the SportPesa Premier League for sponsorship reasons) was the 13th season of the Kenyan Premier League since it began in 2003, and the 53rd season of top-division football in Kenya since 1963. It began on 13 February and ended on 19 November. Tusker won their eleventh league title, earning a place in the preliminary round of the 2017 CAF Champions League. 2015 FKF President's Cup
The 2015 FKF President's Cup (known as the GOtv Shield for sponsorship reasons) was the 44th season of Kenya's top domestic cup competition. It kicked off on 20 June and concluded on 13 December, with the domestic broadcasting rights for the competition held by SuperSport. Originally scheduled to begin on 6 June, participating teams were required to pay a registration fee of KSh. each by 30 May to enter the tournament. The competition's defending champions are Sofapaka, who beat second-tier side Posta Rangers 2–1 in the previous final. 2015 Kenyan Premier League
The 2015 Kenyan Premier League (known as the Tusker Premier League and thereafter the SportPesa Premier League for sponsorship reasons) was the twelfth season of the Kenyan Premier League since it began in 2003, and the 52nd season of top-division football in Kenya since 1963. It began on 21 February and ended on 1 November. Before the beginning of the season, talks with the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) concerning the expansion of the top tier to 18 teams fell through. While the KPL continued with its agenda for the season, the FKF created a parallel top division called the FKF Premier League (FKF PL), consisting of 18 teams. In March, an agreement was reached to maintain, for the 2015 season, the KPL as the top division with the FKF PL as the second tier.
