Maserati M139 Platform
M139 is a rear wheel drive automobile platform developed by Maserati for use in a range of vehicles in the Fiat group. It underpins the 2003 Maserati Quattroporte, 2007 Maserati GranTurismo as well as the 2010 Maserati GranCabrio and also forms the basis of the 2007 Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione. It uses four-wheel independent suspension, composed of double wishbones on both axles. The Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione is a sports car produced by Italian automotive manufacturer Alfa Romeo between 2007 and 2010. It was first presented as a concept car at the 2003 Frankfurt Motor Show and later offered for sale for the 2007 model year. The name refers to the eight-cylinder (''cilindro'' in Italian) engine (8C) and Alfa Romeo's racing pedigree (''Competizione'', Italian for 'competition'). The company received over 1,400 orders for the 8C after the official announcement that the car would enter production. Double Wishbone Suspension
A double wishbone suspension is an independent suspension design for automobiles using two (occasionally parallel) wishbone-shaped arms to locate the wheel. Each wishbone or arm has two mounting points to the chassis and one joint at the knuckle. The shock absorber and coil spring mount to the wishbones to control vertical movement. Double wishbone designs allow the engineer to carefully control the motion of the wheel throughout suspension travel, controlling such parameters as camber angle, caster angle, toe pattern, roll center height, scrub radius, scuff and more. The Dodge Viper is a sports car that was manufactured by Dodge (by SRT for 2013 and 2014), a division of American car manufacturer FCA US LLC from 1992 until 2017, having taken a brief hiatus in 2007 and from 2010 to 2012.
