Mary Jean Balse
Mary Jean Balse-Pabayo (born May 31, 1983) is a Filipina volleyball player. She currently plays for the Army Black Mamba Lady Troopers volleyball team in the Premier Volleyball League. She was a member of the Philippines women's national volleyball team that won the bronze medal in the 2005 Southeast Asian Games. United Volleyball Club
The United VC was a professional women's volleyball team in the Philippine Superliga (PSL). Established in 2017, the club debuted under the sponsorship of United Coconut Planters Life Assurance Corporation (COCOLIFE) and played as the COCOLIFE Asset Managers from the 2017 to 2018 seasons. The club disbanded in June 2019 due to its inability to find a new sponsor. Prior to the disbandment, key players Alohi Robins-Hardy and Kalei Mau signed up with other PSL teams. UAAP Season 71 Volleyball Tournaments
The seniors' division of the UAAP Season 71 volleyball tournaments opened December 6, 2008. Tournament host will be Far Eastern University. Tournament games will be at the Far Eastern University Gym and The Arena in San Juan. The juniors' division tournaments were held on the first semester of the 2008-09 school year; the UE Pages and the UST Lady Tiger Cubs won all of their elimination round games in their respective divisions to clinch the championship outright. In the men's tournament, the UST Growling Tigers also won all of their elimination round games but went through the usual the Final Four format; they beat Ateneo in three straight sets in the semifinals to formalize their entry to the Finals; they then swept the UP Fighting Maroons 2–0 in the best-of-3 Finals series without losing a set to have an immaculate 17–0 Season 71 record to successfully defend their championship. UST Tigresses
The UST Growling Tigers are the college athletic teams representing the University of Santo Tomas in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines. They hold the most UAAP Overall Championships with 44 Seniors' Overall Championships (out of 73 seasons) and 21 Juniors' Overall Championships (out of 26 seasons). UST is one of four member universities that participate in all 15 sporting events of the league. UAAP Season 67 is the 2004–05 athletic year of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines, which was hosted by De La Salle University-Manila. The season opened on July 10, 2004.
