Martin Ádám
Martin Ádám (born 6 November 1994) is a Hungarian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Greek Super League club Asteras Tripolis and the Hungary national team. Club career While playing for Paks, Ádám became the top goalscorer of the 2021–22 Nemzeti Bajnokság I season with 31 goals, becoming the first player to score over 30 goals in the league since 1980. In July 2022, Ádám moved abroad for the first time in his career and signed for K League 1 team Ulsan Hyundai. He scored his first goal for Ulsan in his second appearance for the club, on 13 August, in a 4–0 victory over Daegu FC. With Ulsan, Ádám won two consecutive K League 1 titles, in 2022 and 2023. On 5 July 2024, his contract with the club was terminated. Later that month, on 21 July, he joined Greek side Asteras Tripolis by signing a contract until 2026. The 2022 K League 1, also known as the Hana 1Q K League 1 for sponsorship reasons, is the 40th season of the top division of professional football in South Korea since its establishment in 1983 as the K League, and the fifth season under its current name, the K League 1. The 2015–16 Nemzeti Bajnokság I, also known as NB I, is the 117th season of top-tier football in Hungary. The league is officially named ''OTP Bank Liga'' for sponsorship reasons. The season began 17 July 2015 and will conclude on 8 May 2016. Videoton are the defending champions having won their second Hungarian championship last season. Last season an extra four teams were relegated to the Nemzeti Bajnokság III. Győr had financial and licensing issues. Kecskemét, Pécs and Nyíregyháza all had licensing issues. Therefore, from this season twelve teams compete for the championship title, playing 33 rounds. Teams Dunaújváros and Pápa finished the 2014–15 season in the last two places and thus were relegated to NB II division. The 2013–14 Nemzeti Bajnokság II football season was a single sixteen-team league, unlike previous years, which had two geographically-based sixteen-team groups. BFC Siofok and Egri FC were relegated from the 2012–13 Nemzeti Bajnokság I, but Egri FC did not receive a license for the national championship. NB II, currently known as the Merkantil Bank Liga for sponsorship reasons, is the second tier of Hungarian football. At the end of the 2004–05 season, the tournament format was changed from one division of 14 teams to two divisions: ''Keleti'' (Eastern) and ''Nyugati'' (Western), each with 16 teams. In 2013 the format was changed and there is one division again with 16 teams, and then 20 teams from 2015. The champion and the runner-up will ascend to the first division while the two lowest teams in NB II are relegated to NB III. 2012–13 Nemzeti Bajnokság II
Zalaegerszegi TE and Vasas SC finished the 2011–12 season in the bottom two places of the table and thus were relegated to their respective NB II divisions. Vasas ended an 8-year stay in the top league. Zalaegerszeg ended an 18-year stay in the top league. The two relegated teams were replaced with the champions of the two 2011–12 NB II groups, Egri FC of the East Group and MTK Budapest FC of the West Group. MTK made their immediate comeback to the league, while Eger returned to the competition after an absence of 26 seasons.
