Martin Sayer
Martin Christopher Sayer (, June 20, 1987-July 25, 2023) is a Hong Kong tennis player. He is 1.85m and weighs 89 kg. Sayer is and has been a member of the Hong Kong Davis Cup team, compiling a 15-3 record in Davis Cup action since 2005. Sayer studied and received his BSc and MBA from Radford University, Virginia and competed in NCAA competitions during the 2005-09 period. In the 2008-09 Season, Sayer reached 100 wins in singles on February 8, 2009 and he won the NCAA Men's Division I Big South Conference Player of the Year Award for three consecutive years, from 2006 to 2008. From the Davis Cup official website, Sayer and Brian Hung are the most successful doubles team in the Davis Cup of Hong Kong. They competed in a 4-1 win-loss result. Philippines Davis Cup Team
The Philippines men's national tennis team represents the Philippines in Davis Cup tennis competition and are governed by the Philippine Tennis Association. The Philippines currently compete in the Asia/Oceania Zone of Group IV. They won the Eastern Zone in 1957, 1958, 1960, and 1964, and reached the World Group Play-off in 1991. Cecil Mamiit
Cecil Valdeavilla Mamiit (born June 27, 1976) is a former tennis player from the United States who went on to represent the Philippines. He began his professional career in 1996 and reached his highest individual ranking in the ATP Tour on October 11, 1999 as World No. 72. In 1996, he won the NCAA singles championship as an USC freshman, a feat that had not been achieved since John McEnroe attended Stanford University in 1978. Mamiit won the silver medal in the men's tournament at the 1999 Pan American Games in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, after losing the final to fellow American Paul Goldstein. At the 2006 Asian Games held in Doha, Qatar, he won bronze in the singles event after losing in the semifinals to Lee Hyung Taik of South Korea.
