Marthe Munsterman
Marthe-Emilie Munsterman (born 19 February 1993) is a Dutch football midfielder, who plays for Women's Eredivisie club Ajax and has twice played for the Netherlands women's national football team. Playing career Club FC Twente Munsterman joined the youth academy of FC Twente at the formation of the club in 2007 and broke into the first team during the 2010–11 title-winning season. She is an FC Twente supporter and was proud to represent the club in UEFA Women's Champions League matches against Bayern Munich and FC Barcelona. She played her 100th league match for the club in March 2016. Everton After 10 years with FC Twente, Munsterman joined Everton in July 2017, part of a double transfer with teammate Siri Worm. FC Twente Vrouwen is the women's football (soccer) section of Dutch club FC Twente based in Enschede, and competes in the Vrouwen Eredivisie, the top women's league in the Netherlands. In sport, a cap is a player's appearance in a game at international level. The term dates from the practice in the United Kingdom of awarding a cap to every player in an international match of rugby football and association football. In the early days of football, the concept of each team wearing a set of matching shirts had not been universally adopted, so each side would distinguish itself from the other by wearing a specific sort of cap. KNVB Women's Cup
The KNVB Women's Cup ( nl, KNVB Beker voor Vrouwen) is the cup competition for women's football in the Netherlands. The competition was established in 1980, along with the KNVB Amateur Cup. From the 2007-08 season onwards, the first round of the cup is a group stage for clubs in the ''Hoofdklasse'' and the ''Eerste Klasse''. The 2013–14 season of the Women's BeNe League is the second season of the Belgium and Netherlands' women's football top level league. The defending champion is FC Twente. 2012–13 BeNe League
The 2012–13 season of the Women's BeNe League was the first season of the Belgium and the Netherlands' women's football top level league. Since this was the first season, the league had no reigning champion, although both countries had reigning champions from their former top leagues—Standard Liège in Belgium and ADO Den Haag in the Netherlands. The season started on 24 August 2012. The championship was won by FC Twente. Format The season began with a national phase, involving eight teams in each nation. BeNe League
The BeNe League was the highest women's football league in Belgium and the Netherlands. To increase competitiveness in their national leagues, the BeNe League was a joint cooperation between the Royal Belgian Football Association and the Royal Dutch Football Association. Its first season was played in 2012–13 following the successful cooperation with the one match BeNe Super Cup, that paired both countries' national champions. The competition qualified the highest-placed Belgian and Dutch teams to the UEFA Women's Champions League. The 2015–16 Eredivisie Vrouwen was the sixth season of the Netherlands women's professional football league, and the first season since 2011–12. The Eredivisie returned after a three-season period, when it was replaced by the BeNe League, which involved teams from the Netherlands and Belgium. The season took place from 21 August 2015 to 20 May 2016 with seven teams. Theo Janssen (born 27 July 1981) is a Dutch former footballer who played as a midfielder for various clubs in the Netherlands, including Vitesse Arnhem, Twente and Ajax, as well as on loan for Belgian club Genk.
