Hombres G is a Spanish pop rock band, formed in Madrid in 1983. They are widely considered one of Spain's most prominent pop groups of the 1980s and early 1990s. The band consists of David Summers (bass, vocals), Rafael Gutierrez (guitar), Dani Mezquita (guitar), and Javi Molina (drums). Hombres G made their live debut at Madrid's Rock-Ola in 1983. Their sound was influenced by the early Beatles and the British new wave movement. They found commercial success with the release of ''Hombres G'' (1985) and the song " Devuélveme a mi chica". The youthful and adolescent nature of their music attracted a large audience, both at home and abroad — thousands covered the Gran VÃa Madrileña during the release of their two films and Lima's Jorge Chávez International Airport was nearly closed due to the 20,000 fans that congregated on the landing runway during their first visit to Perú. David Summers RodrÃguez (born 26 February 1964) is a Spanish musician, singer-songwriter, and bassist. He is best known as the lead vocalist of the Spanish pop rock band Hombres G. Early and personal life Summers was born in the Chamberà district of Madrid, Spain, to Manuel Summers Rivero, a Spanish film director and screenwriter of English descent, and Consuelo RodrÃguez Marquez on 26 February 1964. Summers married Marta Madruga on 18 January 1992 and they're the parents of twins, Daniel and LucÃa, born in 2000. "Marta tiene un marcapasos / La cagaste, Burt Lancaster" is the second single released by Spanish rock band Hombres G. The title song is an early version of the single from their album, '' La cagaste... Burt Lancaster''. It was released at the same time as "Milagro en el Congo / Venezia" and through their first label, Lollipop. The Lollipop label was undergoing difficult financial circumstances at the end of 1983 and new recordings were delayed during 1984, until the group decide to split after a last performance in October. Luckily, in this event, they meet with Paco Martin, owner of Twins Records and quickly they signed with the new record label. "Marta tiene un marcapasos" was re-recorded and a completely new version included on their second album, '' La cagaste...
