Marta Canales
Marta Canales Pizarro (17 July 1893 – 6 December 1986) was a Chilean violinist, choral conductor and composer. She was born in Santiago and made her debut as a violinist at age eleven playing Mendelssohn's "Concerto A concerto (; plural ''concertos'', or ''concerti'' from the Italian plural) is, from the late Baroque era, mostly understood as an instrumental composition, written for one or more soloists accompanied by an orchestra or other ensemble.
