Marriott Hotels & Resorts is Marriott International's brand of full-service hotels and resorts based in Bethesda, Maryland. As of June 30, 2020, there were 582 hotels and resorts with 205,053 rooms operating under the brand, in addition to 160 hotels with 47,765 rooms planned for development. History and current operation The Marriott chain began with two motels in the 1950s. The first opened as a Quality Inn airport motel near Washington, D.C. and another motel nearby, the Twin Bridges Motor Hotel, Twin Bridges, a few years later. Tsaghkadzor ( hy, Ծաղկաձոր) is a spa town and urban municipal community, as well as one of the most popular health resorts in Armenia, located north of the capital Yerevan in the Kotayk Province.
