Marko Tomasović (composer)
Marko Tomasović (born 18 May 1976) is a Croatian composer and songwriter. He composed and wrote more than 300 songs. His work has covered various genres. Marko is a member of Croatian Composers' Society, and he was listed as one of the 10 most performed authors in Croatia in 2004. Early life and career He was born on 18 May 1976 in Zagreb, Croatia where he lived most of his life. He grew up listening to artist like Roxette, Bryan Adams, Bon Jovi, Scorpions and Cher. In 1994, Ladislav Račić gave him a chance to teach music on Rock Academia in Zagreb. Two years later, he had additional training with Professor Vanja Lisak. Lisak recommended Marko to his colleague Zdenka Kovačiček and shortly after that they initiate collaboration. He worked on three Zdenka's CDs, and they won the Zagrebfest in 2000 and Zadarfest in 2001 for song "Možda ni ne osjećam kraj" (Maybe I don't fell it is end). Roxette was a Swedish pop rock duo, consisting of Marie Fredriksson (vocals and keyboards) and Per Gessle (vocals and guitar). Lidija Bačić (born 4 August 1985), also known as Lille, is a Croatian pop singer. She rose to fame in 2005 after finishing as runner-up on the second season of '' Hrvatski Idol''. Later in 2010, she released her debut album, ''Majčina ljubav''. Bačić has collaborated with several musical artists, including Mladen Grdović, Alen Vitasović, Grupa Vigor, Dražen Zečić and Tomislav Bralić. Early life Lidija was born in Split on 4 August 1985. The Croatian Radio Festival ( Croatian: Hrvatski Radijski Festival, abbreviated as HRF) was a music festival held annually in Croatia from 1997 to 2009. The festival was first held in 1997 in Vodice. Zadarfest is a music festival held annually since 1993 in Zadar, Croatia. In 2010, it was held in the Višnjik Hall, but was criticized for lack of appeal to the audience. Scorpions (band)
Scorpions are a German rock band formed in Hanover in 1965 by guitarist Rudolf Schenker. Since the band's inception, its musical style has ranged from hard rock, heavy metal and glam metal to soft rock. The lineup from 1978 to 1992 was the most successful incarnation of the group, and included Klaus Meine (vocals), Rudolf Schenker (rhythm guitar), Matthias Jabs (lead guitar), Francis Buchholz (bass), and Herman Rarebell (drums).
