Mark Robinson (Australian Politician)
Mark Andrew Robinson (born 29 April 1963) is an Australian politician who is a former Deputy Speaker of the Queensland Legislative Assembly. Since March 2009, he has held the seat of Oodgeroo (formerly Cleveland) in the Legislative Assembly for the Liberal National Party (LNP). Early life and education Robinson was born in Traralgon, Victoria. He has a PhD from the University of Queensland, a Master of Arts in International Studies from Griffith University, and a Bachelor of Science majoring in marine biology and zoology from James Cook University. He was a lecturer, teacher and charity manager before entering politics. Griffith University
Griffith University is a public research university in South East Queensland on the east coast of Australia. Formally founded in 1971, Griffith opened its doors in 1975, introducing Australia's first degrees in environmental science and Asian studies. Jackie Trad
Jacklyn Anne Trad (born 25 April 1972) is a former Australian politician. She was Deputy Premier of Queensland from 2015 to 2020, Treasurer of Queensland from 2017 to 2020 and represented the Electoral district of South Brisbane for the Labor Party from April 2012 to October 2020. John-Paul Honoré Langbroek (born 31 January 1961) is an Australian politician who has been a member of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland representing the centre-right Liberal Party and its successor, the centre-right Liberal National Party, in the seat of Surfers Paradise since 2004. The 2017 Queensland state election was held on 25 November 2017 to elect all 93 members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland, the unicameral Parliament of Queensland. 2012 Queensland State Election
The 2012 Queensland state election was held on 24 March 2012 to elect all 89 members of the Legislative Assembly, a unicameral parliament. The Labor Party (ALP), led by Premier Anna Bligh, was defeated by the opposition Liberal National Party (LNP), led by Campbell Newman. It is only the sixth time that Queenslanders have ousted a sitting government since 1915.
