Mark Foster Gage
Mark Foster Gage (born November 22, 1973) is an American designer, theoretician, theorist and founder of Mark Foster Gage Architects in New York City. He is a tenured associate professor and former assistant dean, from 2010 to 2019, at the Yale University School of Architecture where he has been on the faculty since 2001. His academic expertise is in the field of aesthetic philosophy. Background and education Gage holds a B.Arch. with a second major in Art History from the University of Notre Dame and a M.Arch. from Yale University. The Yale School of Architecture (YSOA) is one of the constituent professional schools of Yale University, and is generally considered to be one of the best architecture schools in the United States. Franz Mayer Museum
The Franz Mayer Museum ( es, Museo Franz Mayer), in Mexico City opened in 1986 to house, display and maintain Latin America’s largest collection of decorative arts. The collection was amassed by stockbroker and financial professional Franz Mayer, who collected fine artworks, books, furniture, ceramics, textiles and many other types of decorative items over fifty years of his life. A large portion comes from Europe and Asia but most comes from Mexico itself with items dating from the 15th to the 20th centuries. Many pieces in the collection are fine handcrafts, such as textiles and Talavera pottery, and they are important because they are items that often did not survive because most did not consider them worth preserving. 252 East 57th Street is a mixed use modernist style residential skyscraper in Midtown Manhattan, New York City, developed by the World Wide Group and Rose Associates, Inc. Construction started in 2013. The building is part of a luxury residential corridor along 57th Street called Billionaires' Row. The residential tower rises to with condominiums starting on the 36th floor, and is the 63rd tallest building in New York. The complex also houses two new schools and of retail space, in addition to a Whole Foods Market. The residential tower and additional retail portions were anticipated to open in late 2016, and the project was largely complete by 2017. Roger Duffy
Roger Duffy is an American architect, known for rigorous and unconventional approach to design. Now retired, he worked as a partner at the firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. He was a design partner in the New York office from 1995 until 2018, and is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the League Circle of the Architectural League of New York. He received his Bachelor of Architecture from Carnegie Mellon University in 1979. Duffy currently lives with his wife and two children in Stuyvesant Town in New York City. Billionaires' Row is a set of ultra-luxury residential skyscrapers, constructed or in development, that are arrayed roughly along the southern end of Central Park in Manhattan, New York City. Several of these buildings are in the supertall category, taller than , and are among the tallest buildings in the world.
