Marion Thénault (born April 9, 2000) is a Canadian freestyle skier, who competes in the aerials discipline. At the 2022 Winter Olympics, Thénault was a part of Canada's bronze medal winning Mixed team aerials. Career She was born in Sherbrooke, Quebec. Freestyle skiing at the 2022 Winter Olympics were held at the Genting Snow Park in Zhangjiakou and Big Air Shougang in Beijing, China. The events were held between 3 and 19 February 2022. A total of 13 freestyle skiing events were held. In July 2018, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) officially added three events to the Olympic program: big air for men and women, along with a mixed team aerials event. A total of 284 quota spots (142 per gender) were distributed to the sport, a decline of 4 from the 2018 Winter Olympics. A total of 13 events were contested, six for men, six for women and one mixed. The 2023 FIS Freestyle Ski and Snowboarding World Championships are held in Bakuriani, Georgia from 19 February to 4 March 2023. This marks the first ever snow sports World Championships to be contested in Georgia. Host selection In April 2017, the Georgian Ski Federation officially submitted a bid to host the event. Rukatunturi ( fi, Ruka) is a high fell and a ski resort in Kuusamo, Finland. Apart from downhill skiing, there are over 500 km of cross-country skiing tracks. Also snowmobiles can be rented to enjoy some of the area's 600 km of snowmobile routes (of which 100 km are safari organizers' private routes). Le Relais is a ski mountain just 15 minutes from downtown Quebec City, Canada. It is the smallest of the four ski stations located near Quebec City with Mont Sainte-Anne, Stoneham and Le Massif. The 2021–22 FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup is the 50th World Cup season in freestyle skiing organised by the International Ski Federation.
