Mariana Monteiro ( Porto, 17 November 1988) is a Portuguese actress, and model. Biography Born in Porto, Mariana Monteiro moved to Lisbon at the age of 16 in 2005 and performed in the Portuguese television teen drama Morangos com Açúcar that was broadcast daily from 30 August 2003 to 15 September 2012 on the Portuguese TV station TVI. She became an exclusive TVI actress until 2013 when she made part of the cast of Doce Tentação ''Doce Tentação'' is a Portuguese telenovela that started airing on TVI on 8 January 2012 and stopped broadcasting on March 9, 2013. RTP1 (''RTP um'') is a Portuguese free-to-air television channel owned and operated by state-owned public broadcaster Rádio e Televisão de Portugal (RTP).
