Taron Margaryan
Taron Andraniki Margaryan ( arm, Տարոն Անդրանիկի Մարգարյան, born 17 April 1978, Yerevan) is a politician from Armenia. He was the 11th mayor of Yerevan from 2011 to 2018. Head of community and early career From 2001 to 2003, he worked as a leading specialist for Armenia's State Committee of Real Estate Cadastre in the territorial unit of Nor Nork, and later became the head of the department. In 2003, he was appointed as the Deputy Head of the Ministry of Bioresources Management Agency. In 2005, he was elected at the age of 27 as head of the district of Avan in the city of Yerevan and was re-elected in 2008 for a second term. During Margaryan's two terms in office, the district of Avan was recognized by Armenia as the best district for two years in a row. Gurgen Margaryan
On 19 February 2004, Gurgen Margaryan ( hy, Գուրգեն Մարգարյան; 26 September 1978 – 19 February 2004), a lieutenant in the Armenian army, was murdered in Budapest, Hungary, by Ramil Safarov, a lieutenant in the Azerbaijani army. In September 2013, a monument dedicated to Margaryan was unveiled in Yerevan. Education Margaryan was born in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. He received his secondary education at School No. 122 in Yerevan and subsequently graduated from the State Engineering University of Armenia with a bachelor's degree in engineering. After completing his mandatory military service term from 1999 to 2001, he became an officer in the Ministry of Defense of Armenia with the rank of lieutenant. Andranik Margaryan
Andranik Nahapeti Margaryan ( hy, Անդրանիկ Նահապետի Մարգարյան; 12 June 1951 – 25 March 2007) served as the Prime Minister of Armenia from 12 May 2000, when the President appointed him, until his death on 25 March 2007. He was a member of the Republican Party of Armenia. He succeeded the Sargsyan brothers: Vazgen Sargsyan, who was murdered during the Armenian parliament shooting on 27 October 1999 and Aram Sargsyan, whom the President appointed a week later, but fired on 2 May 2000. Aram Margaryan ( hy, Արամ Մարգարյան, born 27 March 1974) is a retired Armenian Freestyle wrestler. He is a World Champion, winning the gold medal in 2002. Margaryan was awarded the Honored Master of Sports of Armenia title in 2009. Biography Aram Margaryan was born on 27 March 1974 in Yerevan, Soviet Armenia. He began freestyle wrestling under Andranik Aroyan and Norayr Serobian. Margaryan was included in the USSR junior freestyle wrestling team in 1991. Hayk Margaryan ( hy, Հայկ Մարգարյան; born June 28, 1985), better known by his stage name HT Hayko, ( hy, ՀՏ Հայկո) is an Armenian rapper from Yerevan, Armenia. Early life Hayk Margaryan was born on June 28, 1985 in Yerevan. He graduated from School No.55 after Chekhov. Then he went to Sayat-Nova Musical School, where he learned how to play piano and trumpet. Later, Hayk graduated from the State Engineering University as an electrician. Music career Hayko started his music career in 2001, when he founded the Hay Tgheq group with Misho. It was the first ever rap group in Armenia. Together they released two albums, eight music videos, and held concerts in Armenia as well as other countries. It dissolved in 2007. Since then, Misho and Hayko work separately. Western Armenian
Western Armenian ( Classical spelling: , ) is one of the two standardized forms of Modern Armenian, the other being Eastern Armenian. It is based mainly on the Istanbul Armenian dialect, as opposed to Eastern Armenian, which is mainly based on the Yerevan Armenian dialect. ''Anoush'' (also Anush, hy, Անուշ) is a five-act opera composed by Armen Tigranian, based on the 1892 poem of the same name by Hovhannes Tumanyan.
