Marcelino Martínez
Marcelino Martínez Cao (; born 29 April 1940), known simply as Marcelino, is a Spanish former footballer who played as a striker. Club career Marcelino was born in Ares, Province of A Coruña, Galicia. In 1959, he signed with Real Zaragoza from local Racing de Ferrol, going on to remain with the former club until his retirement 11 years later. During his spell with the Aragonese, always spent in La Liga, Marcelino scored 117 goals in all competitions, contributing solidly as they won three major titles, including two Copa del Rey trophies. He was part of an efficient attacking line dubbed ''Los Magníficos'' (The Magnificent) which also featured Canário, Carlos Lapetra, Eleuterio Santos and Juan Manuel Villa. Canário
Darcy Silveira dos Santos (born 24 May 1934), known as Canário, is a Brazilian retired footballer who played as a forward. Over nine seasons, he amassed La Liga totals of 175 matches and 45 goals, most notably while with Real Madrid and Zaragoza. He won seven trophies between the two clubs. Club career Born in Rio de Janeiro, Canário played for Olaria Atlético Clube and America Football Club in his country. In 1959, he moved to Spain where he would remain until his retirement, starting with Real Madrid and being used mainly as a backup in a three-year spell. A header is a technique that is used in association football to control the ball using the head to pass, shoot, or clear. This can be done from a standing, jumping, or diving position. Heading is a common technique and is used by players in practically every match. Although a useful technique in football, heading carries significant health risks, particularly to the brain, and governing bodies have taken measures to address these risks. Usage In general, a forward uses a header to score a goal, while a defender mostly uses a header to prevent the scoring of a goal by the opponent. After the breakup of the Union the team was transformed into the CIS national football team.
