Canário
Darcy Silveira dos Santos (born 24 May 1934), known as Canário, is a Brazilian retired footballer who played as a forward. During nine seasons, he amassed La Liga totals of 175 matches and 45 goals, most notably while with Real Madrid and Zaragoza. He won eight major titles with the two clubs combined. Club career Born in Rio de Janeiro, Canário played for Olaria Atlético Clube and America Football Club in his country. In 1959, he moved to Spain where he would remain until his retirement, starting with Real Madrid and being used mainly as a backup during his three-year spell. He appeared in five games and scored one goal for the club in the European Cup, three of those matches being in the 1959–60 edition which ended in victory. Real Zaragoza, S.A.D. (), commonly referred to as Zaragoza, is a football club based in Zaragoza, Aragon, Spain, that currently competes in the Segunda División, the second tier of the Spanish league system. Carlos Lapetra Coarasa (29 November 1938 – 24 December 1995) was a Spanish footballer who played as a forward. He spent ten of his 11 years as a professional with Zaragoza, appearing in 279 official games (62 goals) and winning three major titles with the club. A Spain international during the 1960s, Lapetra represented the country at the 1964 European Nations' Cup and the 1966 World Cup, winning the former tournament. Club career Lapetra was born in Zaragoza, Aragon, as his parents had relocated to the city from Huesca due to the Spanish Civil War. After one year in the lower leagues with CD Guadalajara he signed with Real Zaragoza in 1959, remaining with the latter until his retirement. Eleuterio Santos Brito (9 November 1940 – 28 January 2008) was a Spanish footballer who played as a midfielder. He spent the vast majority of his professional career with Real Zaragoza, appearing in 280 official games and scoring 96 goals. Marcelino Martínez Cao (; born 29 April 1940), known simply as Marcelino, is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a striker. Club career Marcelino was born in Ares, Province of A Coruña, Galicia. In 1959 he signed with Real Zaragoza from local Racing de Ferrol, going on to remain with the former club until his retirement 11 years later. During his spell with the Aragonese, always spent in La Liga, Marcelino scored 117 official goals, contributing solidly to the conquest of three major titles, including two Copa del Rey trophies. Manuel Francisco dos Santos (28 October 1933 – 20 January 1983), nicknamed Mané Garrincha, best known as simply Garrincha (, "little bird"), was a Brazilian professional footballer who played as a right winger. In sport, a cap is a player's appearance in a game at international level. The term dates from the practice in the United Kingdom of awarding a cap to every player in an international match of rugby football and association football. In the early days of football, the concept of each team wearing a set of matching shirts had not been universally adopted, so each side would distinguish itself from the other by wearing a specific sort of cap. An early illustration of the first international football match between Scotland and England in 1872 shows the Scottish players wearing cowls, and the English wearing a variety of school caps.
