Marc Jung
Marc Jung (born 1985) is a German painter and artist. He is based in Berlin and Erfurt. Biography Jung grew up in Erfurt. From 1991 to 2004 he was a competitive wrestler. As a compensation for the harsh daily life of an athlete, he started to have an interest in Hip-Hop-culture, basketball and above all in graffiti. After finishing his career as a sportsman he did streetart projects in Erfurt, Berlin and New York City (2005/06). Jung graduated from Bauhaus University Weimar. He also studied in Vienna and Dresden, Hochschule für Bildende Künste Dresden. 2009 whilst studying under Daniel Richter at Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. he was told that his father was suffering from Huntingtons disease. Facing the 50:50 chance of also suffering from Huntington's disease he decided not to be tested and instead to invest all his time and energy in becoming an acclaimed artist. Erfurt
Erfurt () is the capital and largest city in the Central German state of Thuringia. Jean-Michel Basquiat
Jean-Michel Basquiat (; December 22, 1960 – August 12, 1988) was an American artist who rose to success during the 1980s as part of the Neo-expressionism movement. Basquiat first achieved fame as part of the graffiti duo SAMO, alongside Al Diaz, writing enigmatic epigrams in the cultural hotbed of Manhattan's Lower East Side during the late 1970s, where rap, punk, and street art coalesced into early hip-hop music culture. Angermuseum
The Angermuseum is an art museum in Erfurt opened on 27 June 1886. Building It is housed in a building that used to house Erfurt's public weighing scales, where travelling merchants would bring their wares to be weighed for payment of the city's customs duties. The museum faces Anger square; ''Anger'' meaning a town common. Originally, only the gallery on the first floor was used for the museum. It was the first municipal museum in town. Rammstein
Rammstein (, "ramming stone") is a German Neue Deutsche Härte band formed in Berlin in 1994. The band's lineup—consisting of lead vocalist Till Lindemann, lead guitarist Richard Kruspe, rhythm guitarist Paul Landers, bassist Oliver Riedel, drummer Christoph Schneider, and keyboardist Christian "Flake" Lorenz—has remained unchanged throughout their history, along with their approach to songwriting, which consists of Lindemann writing and singing the lyrics over instrumental pieces the rest of the band has completed beforehand.
