Manuel Schüttengruber
Manuel Schüttengruber (born 20 July 1983) is an Austrian football referee who officiates in the Austrian Football Bundesliga. He has been a FIFA referee since 2014, and is ranked as a UEFA first category referee. Refereeing career In 2010, Schüttengruber began officiating in the Austrian Football Bundesliga. His first match as referee was on 28 August 2010 between SV Mattersburg and Red Bull Salzburg. He also officiated two matches in the Swiss Super League in 2012. In 2014, he was put on the FIFA referees list. The Austrian Football Second League (german: 2. Liga) is the second-highest professional division in Austrian football. It was formerly called the First League (''Erste Liga''), from 2002 to 2018. The division currently contains 16 teams, and the champion of the league is promoted to the Austrian Bundesliga. The three last placed teams are directly relegated from the Second League into the regional leagues. SV Mattersburg was an Austrian association football club from Mattersburg, Burgenland. History The club was formed in 1922 and played its home games at the 17,100 capacity Pappelstadion. The club played in the Bundesliga since the 2003–04 season. FC Red Bull Salzburg is an Austrian professional football club based in Wals-Siezenheim, that competes in the Austrian Bundesliga, the top flight of Austrian Football. Their home ground is the Red Bull Arena. Due to sponsorship restrictions, the club is known as FC Salzburg and wears a modified crest when playing in UEFA competitions.
