Manuel Eitel
Manuel Eitel (born 28 January 1997) is a German decathlete. Career From Baltmannsweiler, he is a member of SSV Ulm 1846. He was a 2016 World Athletics U20 Championships bronze medalist in the 4x100m relay in 2016 in Bydgoszcz. He was a European Athletics U23 Championships bronze medallist in the decathlon in 2019. He had surgery on his ankle in 2020, and split his training time between Ulm and Leverkusen during 2020. He won the German Athletics Championships in the decathlon in August 2022, and set a new personal best for the decathlon in Bernhausen. The following month improved it by four points to 8,193 points in Talence. He finished fourth in the pentathlon at the 2023 European Athletics Indoor Championships in Istanbul in March 2023. He placed eleventh in the decathlon at the 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest. Track and field is a sport that includes athletic contests based on running, jumping, and throwing skills. 2024 European Athletics Championships
The 26th European Athletics Championships will be held from 7 to 12 June 2024 at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, Italy. It will be the third time Italy has staged this sporting the event after the inaugural 1934 edition in Turin, for men only, and the 1974 edition at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome. Thus, the city and the venue will host the event for the second time after 50 years. Stadio Olimpico staged also the 1960 Olympic Games and 1987 World Championships in Athletics. The venue was renovated in 1990 and holds up to 70,000 spectators. On 10 November 2020, the European Athletic Association (EAA) chose Rome at its 160th Council Meeting held online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 2023 European Athletics Indoor Championships
The 2023 European Athletics Indoor Championships will be held from 2 to 5 March 2023 at the Ataköy Athletics Arena in Istanbul, Turkey, the first time the event has taken place in this country although the venue did stage the 2012 IAAF World Indoor Championships, 2012 World Indoor Championships.
