Manoela Latini Gavassi Francisco (born January 4, 1993), better known as Manu Gavassi, is a Brazilian singer, songwriter and actress. Early life Born and raised in São Paulo, she is the daughter of broadcaster and presenter Zé Luiz and psychologist and artist Daniela Gavassi. She has 1 sister, fashion student Catarina Gavassi. At age 12, she learned from her father how to play the guitar and wrote her first song at age 13. At 19, she left her parents' house to live alone in an apartment and took interpretation courses in the state capital. Career 2009–11: ''Manu Gavassi'' She began her career in 2009 through Capricho magazine, participating in Galera Capricho, modeling in fashion editorials and being part of behavioral articles for the magazine. Rebeldes (also stylized as RebeldeS) was a Brazilian musical group that emerged from the Brazilian soap opera'' Rebel Rio'', produced by Rede Record in partnership with Mexican Televisa. Globoplay is a subscription video on-demand over-the-top streaming service owned by Grupo Globo. Anavitória (Brazilian Portuguese: /ɐnɐviˈtɔɾjɐ/) is a Brazilian musical duo consisting of Ana Clara Caetano Costa and Vitória Fernandes Falcão. Formed in 2015, Anavitória debuted with an EP produced by Tiago Iorc after being discovered by Iorc's then manager Felipe Simas. They have released a total of four albums, two of which were nominated for Best Contemporary Pop Album at the Grammys. The duo have worked with multiple artists in the Brazilian music scene including Nando Reis and Rita Lee. History 2014–2015 Both Caetano and Falcão studied in the same school in Araguaína, so they met and started recording covers for YouTube.
