Manon Gidali
Manon Gidali (born 15 October 1993) is a French professional golfer playing on the Ladies European Tour (LET). Amateur career Gidali had a successful amateur career and was runner-up at the 2010 European Ladies Amateur Championship, behind Sophia Popov, and won bronze at the 2010 Espirito Santo Trophy in Buenos Aires. She represented Europe at the Junior Ryder Cup, Junior Solheim Cup and Vagliano Trophy. In 2011, she won the Trophee des Regions and the Championnat de France Cadet. She was runner-up at the Internationaux de France Juniors Filles behind Madelene Sagström and at the Irish Under 18 Open Stroke Play, behind Perrine Delacour. She was one of five amateurs invited to play the Ladies Swiss Open on the LET, but did not make the cut. European Ladies' Team Championship
The European Ladies' Team Championship is a European amateur team golf championship for women organised by the European Golf Association. The inaugural event was held in 1959. It was played in odd-numbered years from 1959 to 2007 and has been played annually since 2008 (with the exception of 2012). Format Currently, the championship is contested by up to 20 teams, each of 6 players. The format consists of two rounds of strokeplay, out of which the five lowest scores from each team's six players will count each day. The total addition of the five lowest scores will constitute the team's score and determine the teams qualified for the last three rounds of matchplay. Only teams in contention for a medal will play a match format of two foursomes and five singles, while the other teams will play a one foursome and four singles match format. The 2015 European Ladies' Team Championship took place 7–11 July at Helsingør Golf Club in Helsingør, Denmark. It was the 32nd women's golf amateur European Ladies' Team Championship. Venue The hosting club was founded in 1927 and the course, located 2 kilometres north-east of the city center of Helsingør, in the north-east corner of the island Zealand, Denmark, has been designed by Anders Amilion, John Harris and Anders Sørensen. The 2013 European Ladies' Team Championship took place 9–13 July at Fulford Golf Club in Fulford, England. It was the 30th women's golf amateur European Ladies' Team Championship. Venue The hosting Fulford Golf Club was founded in 1906. The golf course, located 2 kilometers (approximately 1 mile) south of York, North Yorkshire, England, United Kingdom, was designed by Charles MacKenzie, brother of well known golf course architect Alister MacKenzie, and opened in 1935. 2014 Espirito Santo Trophy
The 2014 Espirito Santo Trophy took place 2–7 September at the Karuizawa 72 Golf East, on its Iriyama and Oshitate courses in Karuizawa, Japan. It was the 26th women's golf World Amateur Team Championship for the Espirito Santo Trophy. The tournament was a 72-hole stroke play team event. There were 50 team entries, each with two or three players. Each team played two rounds at the Iriyama Course and two rounds at the Oshitate Course. The leading teams played the fourth round at Iriyama. The best two scores for each round counted towards the team total. Team Australia won their third title, with a 29-under-par score of 547, two strokes ahead of silver medalist team Canada. Espirito Santo Trophy
The Espirito Santo Trophy (World Women's Amateur Team Championships) is a biennial world amateur team golf championship for women organised by the International Golf Federation. The inaugural event was held in 1964. It was instituted by the French Golf Federation in an agreement with the United States Golf Association. It was planned by Lally Segard, at the time known as Vicomtesse de Saint Sauveur, from France and Mrs. Henri Prunaret from America. Segard also asked her friends Ricardo and Silvia Espirito Santo, from Portugal, to donate a trophy for the event, which they did. They had originally bought the golden cup, which had belonged to Tsar Nicholas II of Russia, for an international Portuguese event that was not played anymore. Pia Babnik (born 2 January 2004) is a Slovenian professional golfer. She won the 2019 R&A Girls Amateur Championship. In 2020, 16 years old, she joined the Ladies European Tour, were she won two tournaments the year after. 18 years old, she finished third at one of the professional major championships, the 2022 Chevron Championship. Early life and amateur career Babnik started to play golf at the age of three and joined her first junior golf competition at the age of four, where she also made her first birdie. She has two younger brothers, twins Jaka and Ziga, who both represented Slovenia at the 2022 European Boys' Team Championship. Stephanie Kyriacou (born 22 November 2000) is an Australian professional golfer. She won the 2020 Australian Ladies Classic Bonville by eight strokes as an amateur and joined the Ladies European Tour on a two-year winner's exemption. Career Kyriacou started to play golf aged four and came through the Jack Newton Junior Golf Programme and played in her first Jack Newton golf tournament, the 2011 State Junior Medals, when she was 10. In January 2020, Kyriacou won the first tournament of the 2020 Ladies European Tour season, the Australian Ladies Classic Bonville at Bonville Golf Resort in New South Wales. Saudi Ladies Team International
The Aramco Team Series is a professional women's golf competition that is part of the Ladies European Tour (LET), first played in 2020. The inaugural tournament was played as the Saudi Ladies Team International at Royal Greens Golf & Country Club in King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) by the Red Sea in Saudi Arabia. It was the penultimate LET event of the 2020 season and followed the Aramco Saudi Ladies International. 2021 saw the competition expanded to become the Aramco Team Series, with four tournaments to be held in the United Kingdom, the United States, Spain and Saudi Arabia, each with a US$1 million prize fund.
