Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur District
Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur district is a district of Chhattisgarh state in India. Earlier it was in Korea district. Manendragarh has been inaugurated as a separate District on September 9, 2022 by the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh State Shri Bhupesh Baghel. administrative headquarters of the district is Manendragarh. The district lies in the northwesternmost part of Chhattisgarh in the Surguja division. It borders Madhya Pradesh to the north and west, Koriya and Surajpur districts to the east and Korba and Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi districts to the south. It is mountainous and forested, and largely tribal-populated. The district was part of the princely states of Changbhakar and Korea before Independence. Korba District
Korba District is an administrative district of Chhattisgarh state in central India. The headquarter of this district is Korba. History The district is named for the Korwa tribe that inhabits the northern part of Chhattisgarh. Korba was formerly known as Gourigarh. The district was originally ruled by the Haihaiyas until it was conquered by the Marathas during their expansion into Chhattisgarh. Various parts of the district were controlled by small zamindars belonging to a variety of communities such as Gond and Kanwar. The Korwas managed to overthrow the rulers of Gourigarh and ruled the region until being displaced by the Rajputs under Ratan Singh. Bagheli Language
Bagheli (Devanagari: बघेली) or Baghelkhandi is a Indo-Aryan languages#Central Zone (Madhya or Hindi), Central Indo-Aryan language spoken in the Baghelkhand region of central India. Classification An independent language belonging to the Eastern Hindi subgroup, Bagheli is one of the languages designated as a 'dialect of Hindi' by the Indian Census Report of 2001. More specifically, it's a dialect of Awadhi, which itself defends from Ardhamagadhi. Bagheli is a regional language used for intra-group and inter-group communication. Surgujia Dialect
Surgujia is an Indo-Aryan language spoken in Chhattisgarh. It belongs to the Eastern Hindi subgroup. Speakers Surgujia is primarily spoken in Surguja, Jashpur, and Koriya districts of Chhattisgarh; and to a lesser extent in Raigarh and Korba. Speakers of Surgujia have often been conflated with those of Chhattisgarhi. Furthermore, as is the case with many Hindi languages and other regional languages, Surgujia has often been subsumed under the all-encompassing bracket of Standard Hindi due to erroneous, arbitrary or politically-motivated categorisation. Chirmiri is a hill station city and a Municipal Corporation in the Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur district in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh.
