Mandatory Palestine National Football Team
The Mandatory Palestine national football team, also known as the ''Eretz Israel'' national football team ( he, נבחרת ארץ ישראל בכדורגל, Nivheret Eretz Yisrael Bekhadurgel, lit=Land of Israel national football team), represented the British Mandate of Palestine in international football competitions, and was managed by the Palestine Football Association ( he, התאחדות ארץ ישראלית למשחק כדור-רגל, Hitachduth Eretz Yisraelit Lekhadur Regel, lit=The Land of Israel Association of Football). Maccabi World Union is an international Jewish sports organisation spanning five continents (Africa, North America, South America, Australia, Europe) and more than 50 countries, with some 400,000 members. The Maccabi World Union organises the Maccabiah Games, a prominent international Jewish athletics event. Hebrew
Hebrew (; ; ) is a Northwest Semitic language of the Afroasiatic language family. Occupied Enemy Territory Administration
The Occupied Enemy Territory Administration (OETA) was a joint British, French and Arab military administration over Levantine provinces of the former Ottoman Empire between 1917 and 1920, set up on 23 October 1917 following the Sinai and Palestine Campaign and Arab Revolt of World War I.
