The mind is the set of faculties responsible for all mental phenomena. Often the term is also identified with the phenomena themselves. These faculties include thought, imagination, memory, will, and sensation. They are responsible for various mental phenomena, like perception, pain experience, belief, desire, intention, and emotion. Manas Lake
The Manas Lake () is a salt lake in the Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous Region. It is located in the western part of the Dzungarian Basin, within the Gurbantünggüt Desert. Administratively, the lake is in Hoboksar Mongol Autonomous County; the closest urban settlement is Urho District of Karamay City, some to the northwest of the lake. The Manas Lake used to be known as the Yihehake Lake () in the past. Notionally, Lake Manas is considered the end point of the Manas River, flowing from the Tian Shan mountains. ''Manas Mukherjee'' (also known as ''Manas Mukharji''; 9 September 1943 — 16 October 1986) was an Indian composer who composed several albums in Hindi. Manas K Mandal is a cognitive neuropsychologist serving as the distinguished visiting professor at Indian Institute of Technology – Kharagpur. Research areas Mandal specializes in the areas of neuropsychology and cognitive sciences. His research interests areas include hemispheric lateralization and affective architecture of the brain. Edgar Manas Effendi ( hy, Էտկար Մանաս; April 12, 1875 in Istanbul – March 9, 1964 in Istanbul) was a Turkish composer, conductor and musicologist of Armenian descent. He is one of the three co-authors of the Turkish National Anthem, as he made the arrangements for orchestra. The Manas Family were an Ottoman-Armenian family that provided Imperial Portraitists to the Sultans of the Ottoman Empire in the later half of the 19th century. Some were also chief secretaries to the Ottoman Embassy in Paris and others were music composers. José Ángel Mañas ( Madrid, 22 October 1971) is a Spanish writer. Mañas is often included as a member of the generation of neorealist Spanish writers from the 1990s, along with Juan Gracia, Gabriela Bustelo, Ray Loriga and Lucía Etxebarria.
