Malaysians In India
Malaysians in India consists of expatriates and international students from Malaysia as well as Indian citizens who are of Malaysian descent. Most of them are Malaysians of Indian origin. As of 2015, an estimated 12,442 Malaysians, mostly working for Malaysian-based companies as well as students, reside in India, mainly in South India. Distribution Karnataka There are several hundred Malaysians in Karnataka, most of them are students in Bangalore, Mangalore, Manipal and Hassan medical and engineering colleges. There are around 400 Malaysians registered in Bangalore. Most of them came there to study medicine. While most of them are students, there are also some business families in the city as well. Tamil Nadu There are several Malaysian families and students residing in Chennai. Ravichandran (Tamil Actor)
Ravichandran (30 March 1942 – 25 July 2011) was a Malaysian Indian actor who played lead hero roles in Tamil films from 1964 to 1979. He has also acted in supporting roles from 1986, and directed a few films. He was given the title of "Kalaingnar Thilagham" in many of the on-screen credits of films starring him in the lead role. He was also called "Puratchi Kalaignar" (Refer: Anandha Bairavi Tamil Movie Title Scene). Before entering cinema, during his studies in Trichy, he has acted in two dramas, namely, ''AanaiyidungalAnna'' and ''Udhaya Suriyan''. Malaysian Indian
Malaysian Indians or Indian Malaysians are Malaysian citizens of Indian or South Asian ancestry. Today, they form the third-largest group in Malaysia after the Malays and the Chinese. Most are descendants of those who migrated from India during the British Malaya era from the early 19th to mid-20th centuries. The majority of Malaysian Indians are ethnic Tamils; smaller groups include the Malayalees, Telugus, Sikhs and others. Sri Lankan Malays ( ''Shri Lanka Mæle Janathava'' (Standard); ''Mæle Minissu / Ja Minissu'' (Colloquially); are Sri Lankans with full or partial ancestry from the Indonesian Archipelago, Malaysia, or Singapore. Yugendran
Yugendran (born Yugendran Vasudevan on 20 December 1976) is an Indian actor and singer who has sung hundreds of songs in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. He is also an occasional music director and host. Personal life Yugendran is the son of the late Malaysian Malayali origin Tamil language playback singer-actor Malaysia Vasudevan. He has two sisters named Pavithra and Prashanthini. Syed Thajudeen Shaik Abu Talib (born 23, August 1943) is a Malaysian painter. He is known for his large scale mural paintings of epic proportions set in period landscapes. A distinctive stylisation, romantic treatment of subject matter and the rich colours as in the Ajanta cave paintings of Maharashtra and of the Mughal (enriched from the wealth of Indian mythology) are apparent in his works. Manipal is a suburb and university town within Udupi, in coastal Karnataka, India.
