Prashanthini is an Indian playback singer, singing predominantly in Tamil. She is the daughter of Malaysia Vasudevan and the sister of Yugendran. Career Prashanthini first began her playback career with Harris Jayaraj for the movie '' 12B''. However, after this song, she took a long break and came back in the G. V. Yugendran
Yugendran (born Yugendran Vasudevan on 20 December 1976) is an Indian actor and singer who has sung hundreds of songs in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. He is also an occasional music director and host. Personal life Yugendran is the son of the late Malaysian Malayali origin Tamil language playback singer-actor Malaysia Vasudevan. He has two sisters named Pavithra and Prashanthini. Prashanthini is a Tamil playback singer as well and has sung in films such as '' 12B'', ''Veyil'' and ''Vaaranam Aayiram''. Malaysia Vasudevan
Vasudevan (15 June 1944 – 20 February 2011), known as Malaysia Vasudevan, was a Malaysian-Indian playback singer and actor in Tamil cinema. Early life Malaysia Vasudevan's parents were from Palakkad. Chattu Nair of Ottappalam and Ammalu of Polpulli, along with their families migrated to British Malaya in search of a livelihood. After a few years, Chattu Nair married Ammalu in an arranged marriage. Vasudevan was born on 15 June 1944 as their eighth and youngest child. Even though he was a Malayali, as was the case with the majority of contemporary South Indian migrants to Malaya then, his surroundings in Malaysia was dominated by the Tamil language and culture.
