''Makes Me Sick'' is the ninth studio album by American rock band New Found Glory. It was released on April 28, 2017, through Hopeless Records. Background In October 2016, '' Alternative Press'' reported that the group were working on a new album. Release The band sent out cryptic messages teasing the album and on January 25, 2017, ''Makes Me Sick'' was announced for release in April. The lead single, "Happy Being Miserable", was released on February 16. The music video, filmed in January, was directed by Max Moore and is a recreation of a famous scene from the film '' Stand by Me''. Between March and May, the group went on an anniversary tour to celebrate 20 years of being a band. On the tour, the group performed material from their 1999–2009 albums, as well as "Happy Being Miserable". New Found Glory
New Found Glory (formerly A New Found Glory) is an American rock band from Coral Springs, Florida, formed in 1997. The band currently consists of Jordan Pundik (lead vocals), Ian Grushka (bass guitar), Chad Gilbert (lead guitar, backing vocals), and Cyrus Bolooki (drums). Longtime rhythm guitarist and lyricist Steve Klein left the band in late 2013. Chad Everett Gilbert (born March 9, 1981) is an American musician and record producer. He is best known as a founding member of the rock band New Found Glory, for whom he plays lead guitar, sings backing vocals, and composes music. He was also the lead vocalist for the band's now-defunct side-project, International Superheroes of Hardcore. Additionally, Gilbert was the vocalist for the hardcore punk band Shai Hulud between 1995 and 1998, and from 2012 to 2013. For each product, the scores from each review are averaged (a weighted arithmetic mean, weighted average). Metacritic was created by Jason Dietz, Marc Doyle, and Julie Doyle Roberts in 1999.
