Maja Ivarsson
Maja Ivarsson (; born 2 October 1979) is a Swedish singer and lead vocalist of the Swedish indie rock band The Sounds. Career The Sounds formed in 1998 in Helsingborg, by childhood friends guitarist and vocalist Felix Rodriguez and bassist Johan Bengtsson, who later invited drummer Fredrik Nilsson on board. Maja Ivarsson met the group in high school when the guitarist Felix Rodriguez ended up in the same class. Due to Maja singing at school and her striking appearance Felix then proceeded to invite Maja to join the group under the condition that she would have to sing. Although Maja wasn't keen on singing, she decided to join the band. The last and youngest member to join the band was Jesper Anderberg. The group met Jesper during the Hultsfred Festival by chance and invited him to join. The Sounds are active on the touring circuit, including the United States. ''Crossing the Rubicon'' is the third studio album by the Swedish new wave band The Sounds, released on 2 June 2009. On 17 April 2009, the first single "No One Sleeps When I'm Awake" was released on iTunes worldwide. The album was available to Spotify Premium customers from 29 May, and it was officially released 2 June. The second single, "Beatbox" was released on 12 January 2010 on iTunes exclusively. Matt and Kim (sometimes stylized MATT and KIM) are an American indie electronic duo from Brooklyn, New York City. The group formed in 2004 and consist of Matt Johnson (vocals/keyboards) and Kim Schifino (drums). Paramore is an American Rock music, rock band from Franklin, Tennessee, formed in 2004. The band currently consists of lead vocalist Hayley Williams, guitarist Taylor York and drummer Zac Farro. Williams and Farro are founding members of the group, while York, a high school friend of the original lineup, joined in 2007.
