Maika Ortiz
Maika Angela Ortiz (born August 30, 1991) is a Filipino volleyball athlete player of the Foton Tornadoes volleyball team in the PSL. She is currently a member of the Philippines women's national volleyball team. Career Ortiz played for the UST Golden Tigresses on her college years. She won the Best Attacker award in the UAAP Season 74 volleyball tournaments. She played for the Philippine Air Force Volleyball Team in the Shakey's V-League. She also played for the Chery Tiggo Crossovers in the Philippine Super Liga and Premier Volleyball League. Volleyball
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball. The complete set of rules is extensive, but play essentially proceeds as follows: a player on one of the teams begins a 'rally' by serving the ball (tossing or releasing it and then hitting it with a hand or arm), from behind the back boundary line of the court, over the net, and into the receiving team's court. The receiving team must not let the ball be grounded within their court. The team may touch the ball up to three times to return the ball to the other side of the court, but individual players may not touch the ball twice consecutively. ...

2021 PVL Open Conference
The 2021 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference was the tenth conference of the Premier Volleyball League (''37th conference of the former Shakey's V-League'') and its first conference as a professional league. The conference started on July 17, 2021 and ended on August 13, 2021, at the PCV Socio-Civic and Cultural Center in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte in a bubble. The PVL has been approved by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) to begin team practices to be followed by the official start of the 2021 season. The 2018 Chooks-To-Go PSL Grand Prix Conference was the first conference and first indoor tournament for the Philippine Super Liga's sixth season. The games commenced February 17, 2018 at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig and the formal opening ceremony was held on February 24, 2018 at the Santa Rosa Multipurpose Complex in Santa Rosa, Laguna. The 2017 Belo PSL Invitational Cup was the first indoor volleyball tournament for the Philippine Super Liga's fifth season. It began on March 4, 2017 and ended April 1, 2017.
